Motzie is a writer, artist, and animator from Quezon City who focuses on Filipino and LGBTQ+ themes in her stories. Her works include the independently published novel BAYANI, the short horror film KILALANIN, and the Pinoy Monster Boyfriend, Girlfriend, and Lover comic anthologies. When not animating 2D TV series at her day job, Motzie contributes articles to British online culture magazine Whatculture, or works on personal projects such as her Filipino supernatural LGBTQ+ webcomic, Beloved Engkantado Horrors (BEHKomiks). She’s currently based in Toronto, ON.
